This is the boxing of the Tamiya Dewoitine D.520 that comes with an expanded set of decals as well as a staff car. As it happens, I used the decals from my earlier build of the original boxing of the D.520. I also didn't build the staff car, as I have no interest in it. The kit goes together very well. About the only issue I had was attaching the canopy at the very end, which is probably a reflection on me rather than the kit. This build uses the same basic colors as my first build, but the camouflage pattern is significantly different. I thought the polka dots (for want of a better term) were quite striking. I used all AMMO by Mig paints on the exterior (excepting the propellor/spinner, for which I used Auto Borne Sealer Black). The bottom is FS36320 Dark Compass Ghost Gray (AMMO 0208), and the top is FS35164 Intermediate Blue ANA 608 (AMMO 0228), Green Moss (AMMO 0074) and Rust Tracks (AMMO 0034). The brown dots were applied with a microbrush - it kind of looks like the plane has the measles.

I used the Eduard mask for the canopy. I didn't paint the frames on the rear sections.
